Youth Care Worker I- Relief

|Description:||We're searching for Youth Care Worker I's who are looking for an opportunity to work in a rewarding and challenging residential environment with at-risk young adults on a PRN BASIS!|
Must be available to complete pre-employment drug screening, backgorund checks and TB Test before start date.
LifeWorks Transitional Living Program (TLP) serves homeless teenagers and young adults in need of transitional housing. Ages served are generally 17-22, including youth aging out of foster care.
The facility is a 16-bed group home staffed 24/7. Youth may stay up to a year and a half, depending on needs, and are provided comprehensive case management services, with an emphasis on moving them towards stability.
LifeWorks TLP offers more independence to older teenagers than many programs, including freedom to work, choice of school, and ability to participate in the community. TLP works closely with other programs within LifeWorks and the community to provide youth the tools they need to reach self-sufficiency.

This position is RELIEF. Typically Overnights and 3-11 shift 0-16 hours a week.
|Duties:||• Supervises clients within a residential facility, and ensures a safe environment is maintained.|
• Assists clients with their day-to-day needs and administers daily medications.
• Ensures facility cleanliness and maintenance within licensing standards.
• Maintains records and logs of facility equipment.
• Maintains client files, logs, and related information.
|Qualifications:||REQUIRED: HS Diploma/GED and minimum 1 year related experience (6 months specific working with at-risk youth); Microsoft Office proficiency.|
PREFERRED: HS Diploma/GED and minimum 1 year related Youth Care Work experience (1 year specific working with at-risk youth); Bilingual English/Spanish; Experience with overnight shifts; Microsoft Office proficiency.
